We have a date for
your calendar so far as
our next JAM event is
concerned, David, Barry
and Allan are the Top
Golfers in the group and
they have organized a
Golf Morning (maybe into
the afternoon, because
you will need to wait
for me!) at Wembley Golf
Course on Saturday the
7th August teeing off at
approximately 8.30am, I
believe it will be about
$50 a head and we will
be playing for the
prestigious ‘Jam Jar
Vase’ . This event is
open to all from someone
like myself who has
never hit a golf ball with a stick before! (I
mean Club ‘Dave that is
the correct term I
think?’), other than
‘Crazy Golf’, getting
past that windmill was
always a challenge for
me!!! Up to our top
players such as Barry,
Dave and Allan (No
pressure guys!).
 JAM has
arisen to provide
opportunities for the
men at Grace Church to
get together and share
the fun and
companionship that the
women have thus far
enjoyed from their own
groups (Women's Dining
Out and Bookclub). |
