meeting took place at
Cafe Elixir Wanneroo
25th July. Come
along and make our
gatherings bigger!
We have had up to 20 in
the past. Watch

event. Women parishioners at
Grace Church enjoy a
restaurant meal together
once a month. The
'eating out' group has
continued to flourish
this year with a regular
attendance of up to 18
parishioners for our
monthly get-togethers.
The women's group, which
started about three
years ago, is a great
way for newcomers to get
to know others and for
regulars to catch up.
Everyone enjoys a chance
to meet in a relaxed,
social setting. Members
decide among themselves
the choice of cuisine
for the month. So far,
meals sampled include
Chinese, Thai, Aussie,
Italian and pub fare.
Get-togethers are
informal and discussion
topics are diverse; what
our children have been
doing, work and personal
issues, holiday plans
and so forth.
When paying for their
meals, members usually
put in an extra couple
of dollars which goes
into parish funds. At
the end of the year,
this will pay for
Christmas hampers for
Anglicare. This last
year has seen the Sunday
church collection
benefit by $156.60 from
our efforts... every bit
counts! |
